Ceramics is what we irreverently know today as 'baked clay'. However, the technique from the time of the Ancient Greeks is doing very well these days in rooms such as the bathroom. Furnified convinces you in three steps that using ceramics does not necessarily end with a granny vibe . On the contrary.
Children in the house, often busy with a curling iron or is your cleaning lady keen on the tougher scouring sponges? Not a problem for this type of stone. In addition to sand, clay and other natural raw materials, today's baking process also contains minerals or quartz, which suddenly explains the firmness of this material. The thick layer of glaze added after the firing process covers the surface and should prevent leaks, scratches and stains.
We would say: live it up, but we already do that in our labs. That's right : we test every creation extensively on various parameters, such as ease of use.
Ceramics comes from the Greek 'keramos' and means 'work made of earth'. Why make it difficult when it can be done easily? Today, clay is still the result of largely natural ingredients.
Because the process is so easy to influence, you can choose which color you add to achieve a beautiful end result. For example, we have a choice of different colors and prints for our washbasin tops. A selection from the offer:

Almost convinced? Then we will undoubtedly convince you with this quality: ceramics require (almost) no maintenance. In a room like a bathroom, that is a nice gift. Make-up residue, blobs of toothpaste that don't end up on the brush or stay in your mouth, forgotten shaving cream, sprayed varnish or dried gel... It ain't pretty sometimes .
With ceramics you don't have to lose sleep over a stain more or less. On the contrary: the smooth surface looks shiny again in no time after a turn with the polishing cloth.
If you clean frequently, a damp cloth, some water and a little mild detergent are sufficient. Of course you won't get everything with that. A diluted scouring agent gets rid of caked-on dirt and on and around your sink (top). You can administer that soap every so often.
Is there a little cleaning freak hiding in you(w cleaning lady)? Not all products are suitable for use. You don't have to bring up really strong chemicals such as sink unblocker and oven cleaner.
At Furnified, we work every day on the designs your home deserves, at the price you think is worth it. You spend a lot of time in the bathroom, so in addition to being practical and functional, it should also be beautiful to look at. For example, we look for unique designs in as many natural materials as possible. With our ceramic furniture you are sure of quality at the right price. In other words, you are baked here!
